形態特徵

• Perennial herbs to 60 cm long; stems much branched, branches 4-angled, puberulous along angles.
• Leaves ovate to elliptic, 1–2 cm long, 4–10 mm wide, apex acute to obtuse, base obtuse to attenuate, glabrous to somewhat scabrous; petiole 0.5–1.5 mm long; stipules ca. 3 mm long, ca. 2 mm wide, with 6–8 setae.
• Flowers many in bracteolate heads, bracteoles linear; calyx lobes 2, lance-subulate, ca. 0.5 mm long; corolla campanulate-ureolate, white, 0.8–1 mm long, tube and throat pilose inside, lobes ovate-deltate, tinged with pink; stamens inserted at apex of corolla tube, just below sinus, sessile, included; style ca. 0.6 mm long, included.
• Fruit obovoid to globose, ca. 0.8 mm long, hispidulous.

分布

• 台灣 : in waste places in the south.
• 世界 : Pantropical.
